Functionality
With the first release of telematics functionality, we are using live data and focusing on operational questions related to machine live location and live data.
Location - Location is displayed as the last known location. When the machine is offline, then the location is the last known location whether the last online event was 1 min ago or 1 day ago.
Direction - In what direction the machine is headed?
Online/Offline status - Displays whether the machine is currently offline or online.
Last seen time and location - When the machine is offline it displays the machine’s last seen location on the map and last seen time under the machine name.
Field detection - When a machine enters a field that is described and defined in the system by a user then the system identifies that a machine is working in that certain field. This information will be displayed under the machine name, together with crop information.
Current process visualization - When the machine map is viewed and no machine is selected, then the map displays tracks only on the field. This is especially useful when you have multiple machines working throughout the day and follow their progress.
Last day tracks on focused view - last day tracks are displayed when a machine is selected. When the machine is offline, then the last 24h is shown. When the machine is online, then-current day tracks are displayed.
Telematics data - When a machine is selected, then machine speed, fuel consumption, and engine hours are displayed on the side panel. This data depends on the provider. Some providers do not give engine hour and/or fuel consumption data.
Navigate to machine (only on mobile) - When the machine is selected on mobile, then You can press the navigation button and it will open up your default navigation app and you will be navigated to the machine location.
Mobile App - The mobile app supports all telematics functionality, except settings and changing connections to providers.
Telematics Settings - Setting can be found in the Main menu under Machines->Connections. You can enable/disable a machine, which enables you to choose what machines can be seen on the map. Change the name of the machine and the type of the machine.
Activity Log - All field activities recorded in JD (only JD currently) are shown in eAgronom, JD records only 4 task types - application, seeding, tillage, harvesting. Data we receive regarding these task types is different
