Using Telematics map
Opening the map
From the main menu open Machines
Then click on Map from submenu
Map opens from the right side
If you have active connections, then you will see your machines there
Panning the map
For panning you can use mouse
Click and drag to move around the map
Zooming
Use mouse scroll to zoom in or out
Or zoom buttons on the left upper corner in the map
Viewing the machinery location
When you open the map then by default the zoom level is such that you can see all the machines at once
To view the location you need to open the map view.
Viewing direction
To view to direction you need to open the map
Then locate the desired machine on the map
Then look at the direction where the arrow is pointing
This works in selected view as well
Viewing the telematics information
There are 3 data points available from telematics. Fuel Left, Engine Hours and Speed. Speed is only one that is displayed regardless of the provider. Fuel Left and Engine hours are dependent on the provider, meaning if you don’t see them on the machine left panel, then the provider is not providing this information to eAgronom.
Open the map view
Select the desired machine
View the telematics information for that specific machine on the left side panel
Viewing machine tracks
Tracks can be seen in two ways and they serve different purposes.
Progress tracks in Machinery map view
Open the Machines map view
If you have currently machines working on a detected field then tracks will show you progress being done in the field
Historical tracks for the current day view
Open the Machines map view
Select the machine you want to view
You will see focused view and historical tracks
If machine is online then last day tracks are shown
If machine is offline then last 24h tracks are shown
View machines (mobile app)
If connections have been set up in the desktop and done successfully, then all users with correct permissions will be able to view machines by default. Needs min 3.0.20 version of the app.
Open the mobile app
Tap on fields
Machines should be visible
If you cannot see machines tap on the layers icon
Then select Machines from the selection
Machines are now visible
View machine telematics data (mobile app)
Like in desktop, machine telematics data is available in mobile app as well
Open the mobile app
Tap on fields
Select machine you wish to view
Detail panel on the bottom will display all available data for this machine
To close the details panel just tap on the close(X) icon on the panel
View machine tracks (Mobile app)
Machine tracks on mobile are currently only available for viewing single machine tracks. Tracks data is available for both - online and offline machines.
Open the mobile app
Tap on fields
Select machine you wish to view
You will see machine tracks
Activity Log - Automatic recording of field activities


If You have active John Deere Operations Center subscription, then all the field activity that is recorded by JD is now available in eAgronom.
Choose Machines from the menu
Then click on the Activity Log in the menu
All field activity entries will be displayed
You can filter the log by date or field name
Click on the entry to see more detailed description about the activity and view of the data map
